The Ditton 33 Series II is a closed 3-way loudspeaker. It is equipped with a super tweeter, a new ring compression driver (a development of the HF 1300 BBC) and a polypropylene woofer allowing firmer answers, sharper, more incisive.

These rare speakers are a Celestion branded clone of classic British monitor speakers Spendor BC1, BC2 and Rogers LS3/6, that sell for 3 to 5 times as much. At current going prices, they are a steal. They will bring live concert to you, when paired with proper matching equipment. I use Luxman L-550AII and Marantz SA-15S2 with Transparent speaker wire. I really have no clue why Celestion named them 33 Series 2. The Series 2 have nothing to do with Series I, they are entirely different speakers of a different high-end class. They deserve a metal BBC badge.
